Advertiser Allocations and Costs
Advertising blocks in NiHao People can be bought for US$50 per month with discounts for extended bookings.
They are html boxes and are set in size.
The can include images, animated images, text, text and images, and links.
They must not contradict our TOS for materials posted.
Hence no links to porn sites, link servers, spam servers, viral ad compaigns, get rich quick scemes, links to sites containing violence, pyramid schemes, and other typically banned internet materials.
More about what is considered inappropriate can be learned by reading Google's Advertising policies. We follow the same policies with regards to advertising.
Simple rule of thumb: If you cant do it on Google, nor can you do it here :)
Advertising space can be booked monthly, bi-monthly, and half-yearly.
Accounts are payed via PayPal only.
After payment for your advertising space has been recieived a representative from the NiHao Team will contact you and request your html code to be placed in your chosen allocation.
Free allocations can be seen around the NiHao People site simply titled as "Advertising Box"
NiHao People as hosts Sponsored Pages.
A Sponsored Page can contain activities, applications, and tools, that can be used by the NiHao People member base. They are Public Pages and must be useful to the NiHao People community.
The advantages of having a sponsored page are:
1/ Hosting your company banner at the bottom of the sponsored page.
2/ The ability to create own NiHao People Apllications for use in NiHao People.
Note: All add page applications must be webpage suitable. That is if it can be added to a webpage easily then it will be added to your sponsored page.
3/ Brand recognition because of the sponsorship highlighted by a "This page was sponsored by..." link.
Sponsored pages sell for US$500.00 per page / per year and US$300 per page / per 6 months.
Again as with Advertising blocks content conditions apply.
